That Matter Most
To Hoosiers…
Healthcare Costs
I want to pilot a Healthcare program of my own design for our state. It seeks to tackle the legitimate concerns of people on both sides of the aisle. My plan would lower healthcare costs across the board, expand access to all Hoosiers, and bring down prices for everybody.

Public Education
Education is the cornerstone of any society, knowledge is power, and we should absolutely be empowering Hoosier children. I want to strengthen our public education system, while also supporting small business models of education like private schools and charter schools. I want a system that holds legislators and educators accountable to the communities they’re supposed to be serving. I want to pilot a program that would introduce a stronger, more efficient, and more holistic curriculum. And I want us to be #1.

How about a Hydro-Electric dam instead?

Food Insecurity
Food Insecurity should never be an issue in a proud rural state like ours. I want to boost up Indiana’s Agricultural Sector and incentivize restaurants & grocery stores that operate in Indiana to stock local Hoosier-grown produce, meats, & other commodities.

NDAs by the IEDC, the State, or Agents of the State
One of the core values of my campaign is maximum transparency, but as a Veteran who has held multiple security clearances, fostered children, and studied business, I can tell you that there are legitimate reasons that representatives may need to enter into a discretionary agreement. For example, medical or otherwise personal information of minors or other private citizens, security or safety reasons, protection of trade secrets, etc. That being said, I’ll fight for greater transparency around WHY those agreements are necessary, and independent oversight as to HOW those agreements are conducted. Agreements should only ever be entered into as necessary, should be minimal in scope, and meticulously justified to the public in every instance.
To Americans…
The Economy
Inflation, cost of living, and general affordability has gotten out of control. With a combination of fiscal conservatism and prudent investment in new ideas and startups, we can remind the world what American Ingenuity looks like. This will increase competition and improve the labor market substantially. Enough with the foreign wars already. Americans investing in Americans is America First!
Political Climate
This is one of my biggest reasons for running. The current political climate is not just volatile; it’s unsustainable. The two political parties are engaging in an escalating contest of opposition, and the media plays right into their divisive behaviors. Americans are rarely so divided on issues as we are led to believe, yet we are pitted against each other as if we are enemies. Frankly, it’s become a National Security issue. Reunifying Americans isn’t just a necessity; it’s a core value of my overall platform.
Healthcare
The Healthcare plan that I’m going to pilot in Indiana was originally designed as a federal program. Once I have proven its effectiveness, I will fight to adopt it nation-wide.

Corruption
No candidate can truly be genuine about fighting corruption if they are at the behest of the corrupt, and that is why I run as an Independent. I know that I’ll have to put in more work, raise more money, and face more opposition, but the path of virtue is often not the easy one. I plan to root out and expose corruption wherever I find it, and fight for checks and balances to prevent it in the future. I will champion the most comprehensive anti-corruption bill in this nation’s history and make it one of my top priorities to restore integrity & order to our government. America is for The People and by The People, and some people need to be reminded of that.
Other Important Issues
The First Amendment
Freedom of expression is paramount, but with that comes certain responsibilities. We don’t allow people to incite violence, threaten, or defame. We also have laws to regulate commercial speech to protect people from fraud and misrepresentation. Why then, does it seem to be perfectly legal for government officials to misrepresent and mislead? I support legislation that would mandate impeachment, felony charges, and hefty fines for any public official who knowingly misleads their constituency.
Criminal Justice Reform
I want to modernize policing to improve officer safety, and to help restore the relationship between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
State Budget, Taxes, & Fiscal Policy
This seems to be a hot take these days, but I still believe in balanced budgets, minimal taxes, & fiscal responsibility.
LGBTQ Issues
I believe in freedom, respect, and a live & let live philosophy. It’s not the government’s business what consenting adults do in the privacy of their own home, and I strongly support equal rights. Additionally, I view gender expression as being a form of free speech; covered by the First Amendment. That being said, I don’t believe it’s reasonable to expect all of society to understand & conform to new ideas right away. It’s just not human nature. Instead, we should be patient with each other, make reasonable adjustments to make way for new concepts (such as organizing sports by weight class or other metrics instead of gender), and not attacking people for being slow to adopt.
Daylight Savings Time
I am prepared to cosponsor, vote for, or otherwise support any effort to end this archaic practice.
The Second Amendment
The Second Amendment helps to protect the First Amendment and is an honored part of American tradition, but our nation does have a gun violence problem that we shouldn’t be ignoring. I believe there are reasonable, common ground solutions that the majority of Americans can agree to without treading on peoples’ rights, and I will bring people from both sides of the aisle to the table to have that discussion until we have a comprehensive plan to stop letting Americans die.
Housing Affordability
Other than for development and sale, corporations should not own or purchase housing. Manipulations of housing markets have resulted in substantial market restraints. I’m in favor of banning it outright or creating a property tax system with the goal of lowering everybody’s property taxes for the property they live in and having a gradually increasing property tax rate for each additional property.
Immigration, ICE, & Border Security
As a Veteran, I understand how important border security is more than most, but there’s a pretty broad line between that and dragging people out of their homes, splitting up families, and confining people in subhuman conditions. I seek a peaceful resolution to the problem that alleviates the most suffering, and I will bring people from both sides of the issue to the table until we have one.
Social Safety Nets & Services
I think it goes without saying that any civilized society should take care of their most vulnerable citizens, especially in a time when so many people are in a position where getting a job can actually cost more money than not having a job due to things like rising childcare and out of control healthcare costs. The assistance should absolutely be coupled with genuine rehabilitation & professional development efforts if able, though, and I support expanded efforts to ensure that.
