Howdy, Hoosiers. The time has come again for yet another update on the campaign, where I tell you what I’ve been up to, keep you up-to-date on the campaign, and give you a glimpse of what’s planned for the immediate future. As the title suggests, today’s update is coming to you later than the Hump Day Update that I had originally intended, but with the Community Round Table events that I’ve scheduled over the next few weeks, it just makes more sense to continue posting these on Thursday for now.

Last week, I really hit the signatures hard and made a lot of progress. I hit 260 before I had to take a break due to weather. Considering that I started with under 100 at the beginning of the month, it’s fair to say that I’m making solid progress. I’m shooting for 500 by the end of the month, which would technically be enough, but I’m looking to get more than that in case the county strikes some of the signatures I’ve already collected.

I also want to take a moment to thank everyone that has taken a campaign yard sign or agreed to collect signatures for me. It’s people like you that help motivate me to keep pushing myself hard so as not to disappoint. Your support means the world to me.

I also updated my education plan, which I think is fair bit better thought out than my original stance. Also, when I realized that I could strengthen education across the state and lower property taxes at the same time, I knew this was the way to go. If you haven’t checked it out already, I recommend doing so: https://electjoshuabrant.org/education/

Today, I’ve already been busy working on the house. I’ve got my work desk into position, finally, and hope to have my home-office set back up before the weekend. This afternoon, though, I’ll be back out on the sidewalks going door-to-door. It’s time to get back to collecting signatures if I want to hit my month-end goal.

A quick look ahead: Unpacking boxes, posting content, and collecting signatures. All day; every day. I can’t stop now, and I won’t stop until the work is done.

Until next time, District 23, have yourselves a better-than-great weekend. I’ll be thinking about ya.

Genuinely,
Joshua Brant
