I’m thrilled to share a huge milestone for this campaign (even if this update is coming a little late). The counties of District 23 were able to certify enough signatures for me to officially qualify for ballot access in the November election. We needed 628 registered voters to sign our petitions, and our certified total after months of hard work and canvassing was 696.

I joined a few other independent candidates for a small event in Indianapolis last week, dubbed Independent’s Day, to submit our final candidacy paperwork to the Indiana Election Division. It made the moment feel even more real. We’re all still waiting on final confirmation from the State, but signatures are rarely invalidated once they’ve been certified at the county level.

I’m thrilled to have reached this stage and grateful for all those who believed in the idea that we can do better together for Indiana. I’ll share more as soon as the review is complete.
