Today, the Indiana Supreme Court will hear oral arguments related to the District 23 ballot case.
This hearing is part of the Court’s normal process for reviewing election‑related challenges. Oral arguments give each side a chance to present their position and answer questions from the justices.
The hearing starts at 11:15 AM and can be livestreamed on courts.in.gov, but I’ll also be sharing a recap later today so folks can stay informed about the process without having to necessarily sit and watch the whole thing.
It’s important to note that no ruling will be issued today. After the hearing, the Court will take the matter under advisement and release a written decision at a later date. Published rulings on oral arguments can take months, but since we are dealing with an election and ballot deadlines, I suspect we’ll hear something within 2-6 weeks.
As always, my focus remains on serving the people of District 23 and running a campaign grounded in transparency, accountability, and community. I look forward to clarity for voters once the Court completes its work.
